Chapter 4 - Return to Lizard House

Mr. Loon returned to Lizard House in search of the forgotten manuscript. Opening the wooden door to a creaking halt, a cloud of dust kicked up unearthing remains of the razed exhibit. He proceeded to walk forward, unknowing and unafraid of what awaits him in the next room. From a distance, Mr. Loon could see the empty cage of what once held the most dangerous lizard known to man.

Shaking and terrified, he wiped the muck from his boots as his site narrowed on the location of the lost text. And with his gaze tarnished by a startling bang, he quickly turned to come face to face with the scaly demon itself. Sick to his stomach with terror, Mr. Loon kneeled to the floor and prepared for his attack. Reaching for the dagger in his left coat pocket, he stared into the abyss of two giant yellow eyes and struck a resounding blow.

After the beast’s unfortunate demise, Mr. Loon grabbed the manuscript and made his escape from Lizard House. He left the scene with treasure in hand, but as he looked back on the reptilian chamber, he could see light vanish from the sky and reappear before him.
